Killer for Camping
This monitor is EXACTLY what I was looking for. It is super convenient and gave my kiddos and myself a sence of security on our recent camping trip. The rechargeable batteries worked wonderfully and enabled us to listen to and communicate with our kids in our tent after bedtime. My kids loved that there was a two way talk function and felt secure enough to fall asleep while their dad an I socialized around the fire. We only used this item for an hour or so every night, and never had a need to recharge it during our 4 day trip, so I cant speak to a full nights use. Nor can I speak to the range, as my hubby and I weren’t more than a hundred feet away from the tent. I can say that the sound quality was great, the talk function didn’t sound weird or scary to my kiddos, and the overall product was better than I expected for the price. This monitor is small and perfect for travel. Plus it comes with a carry bag and two charging cords (with plug in blocks) so you could use this item plugged in or battery operated. I like the magnetic back aswell, although the magnets seem to be a bit weak for practical use.All in all this monitor is so much better than I expected and perfect for our needs. Our kiddos are getting older and our ability to listen to them is no longer for their safety, but rather for their (and our) piece of mind. The ability to sit around the fire with other adults while our kiddos slept near by was a huge step made possible by this monitor. I plan to take this monitor camping every time and look forward to being able to spend more time hanging out with the grown ups after the kids head to bed or hang out in the tent with their cousins.

Good Simple Monitor
This monitor set works great if you want to stay simple (no wifi, no camera) and/or if you travel a lot or just want to monitor a baby that sleeps in different locations. Easily reaches across a large house and easy to slip in a pocket and carry around. Battery life has never been an issue. I haven’t really tested how long it lasts at once, I try to plug (usb-c) it in between uses, but it’ll definitely work for multiple naps before needing a charge. (I’ve been using these for a year and no issue with longevity in that sense.)My one complaint, which is easy to work around as long as you remember, is the base station monitor (next to the baby!) makes a loud BEEP if you plug it in while it’s turned on. Turn it off, then plug it in, then turn it back on.

Incredible Product, works very well!!
This is a very nice monitor. Works better than I expected. I am not using this as a baby monitor, but more as a theft monitor. I have had my catalytic converter stolen twice in the last 2.5 years. They cost $3500 to replace. At least I had insurance the 2nd time. My car is a 2007 Prius and its converter is apparently stolen the most of any car for any year. It is located about 120 feet from my apartment room on the opposite side of the building so I was worried it would be too far away because the transmission would have to go through several walls. I use this monitor in conjunction with a vibration alarm attached to the car. I placed the monitor next to the alarm. I set off the alarm and the monitor works great. I can hear it very loudly in my bedroom. Without the monitor you can only hear the alarm about 100 feet away, but not if your inside. I was very happy. The one thing you really need to do is plug the baby unit into a power bank to make sure it last for a while. I used a 34000mAh power bank that works great. The monitor uses up about 280mAh per hour or about 10% of the power bank every 12 hours, so it will last about 120 hours. The batteries in the monitor are 1500mAh total so I think the monitor will only last about 5 or 6 hours at best on its own when not plugged into an AC outlet, not the 10 hours it states. If you use this monitor away from home on say a camping trip, I would definitely use a power bank with the unit. It seems to work well with any power bank. I mounted the monitor and the power bank inside a case I already had, so I could carry it around easily. I put holes in the case for the sound to come through. I can pretty much hear everything on this monitor. Airplanes going by, cars going by on the highway over 200 feet away from the monitor and people talking, so it works great. I actually had to turn the volume down on the parent unit a notch or 2. The price on this monitor and the alarm was only about $75 total so it was worth it. I already had plenty of power banks, so I actually got to use one 100% of the time. I got this particular monitor because it had rechargeable batteries in the baby unit and you could plug it into a power bank instead of the wall outlet adapter. I think its the best of what’s out there, at least on Amazon.

Perfect for on the go and multi use
I love the plum color! So bold and classy. I used to buy things based only on function over beauty, but I’m evolving and so glad these were my first beauty + functionality purchase. Just what I wanted, wireless and no WiFi. Like a walkie talkie one way, with full listening the other way, though you can mute the parent device. Great to put outside or in the playroom while my older kids are playing, especially when I am home alone nursing a sleeping baby in bed. Now I don’t have to try to get their attention in other silly ways (ie. bells, quiet yelling, whistling). Also good for when baby is sleeping in the car and I am running into a friend’s house or waiting at the taco truck. Gave the baby device to one of my older kids and had them walk a long block away from our front yard. Worked well. Noticeable that range is shorter with obstructions. Oh, and they are so cute and compact in the sweet carrying case! Easy to bring the whole set along. Can’t wait to use it on family vacay. Overall pleased. Good ‘ol Motorola, the OG!

Love. Good battery life. Constant sound and picks up at a distance. Love that it’s not a plug into wall and both are portable. Can hear baby over shower too

Happy so far. Sensitive mic. Slight delay when the parent speaks (but not an issue). Wish there was a loop for a lanyard or something. Also the baby unit shut off after being disconnected from parent unit for maybe 10m (went out to the barn). The long range only applies if in an open field! No complains over all but will update review as needed.

Love this product. We camp without the luxury of plug ins or generators so the battery was a must. It had good distance and clear sound. Packs up nice and neat in a handy little baggy.

This audio only monitor is awesome. It has great range and picks up sounds easily, ensuring you hear even the smallest of things going on in your little one’s room. It also gives you piece of mind knowing that if the power goes out, the back up batteries will keep it going for the night.Love it. Would buy it again!

Pros: it’s compact, easy to use, and the long range is really great with super clear sound. Good for camping.Cons: no lights indicating noise so if your in a noisy environment its useless, sometimes the light turns off and it’s hard to know if its on or notI ultimately decided to return because it was pricy and not as reliable as I would have hoped.Updated Review: I decided to repurchase this unit as it’s truly the only one on the market that is fully battery operated. With saying that you still need to recharge them with a power source.
