Great balance of lightweight, compact, and actually sturd
We’ve been through a few strollers at this point with a 3.5-year-old and a 16-month-old, so we have a pretty good sense of what works and what doesn’t. We have a high-end Britax system that we love, but it’s big, heavy, and not exactly something you want to haul around for quick trips. On the other end, we picked up a cheaper lightweight “travel” stroller in the past, and while it was light, it felt flimsy and didn’t even fold down all that compactly.This Kinderkraft Apino sits right in the sweet spot.First off, the build quality is surprisingly nice. It feels solid and well-made—not cheap or flimsy like a lot of lightweight strollers. At the same time, it’s still light enough to easily carry and maneuver, which makes a big difference for everyday use.The auto-fold feature is excellent—easily the simplest folding mechanism of any stroller we’ve used, including our Britax. It folds down quickly into a compact shape and stands on its own, which is incredibly convenient when you’re juggling kids and bags.We also really like the storage basket design. It’s easy to access, but the slightly tapered shape helps keep items from falling out, which isn’t always the case with other strollers.The sunshade, seat adjustments, and overall ergonomics all feel well thought out. The handle is comfortable, the stroller steers smoothly, and both of our kids seem to sit comfortably in it. The 5-point harness is secure and easy to adjust.One of the biggest wins for us is versatility—our older child can comfortably use this for longer outings, while our younger one stays in the car seat with our larger stroller. Once our youngest outgrows the car seat, we’ll likely switch them, our oldest into the Britax (without the car seat of course) and our youngest in this Kinderkraft.For the price, this is honestly a really impressive stroller. Looking back, I wish we had skipped the cheaper travel stroller and just gone with this from the start.Highly recommend if you want something lightweight and compact without sacrificing quality.

Wonderfully Designed
I was looking for a new stroller and this one caught my eye. This is one of the best all around strollers I have ever encountered. I have purchased Kinderkraft products before. Their products are always premium, and this stroller was no exception.My baby nephew is staying with me while his mom recuperates. I have had him in this stroller for short walks around the neighborhood, and longer outings to the park. This stroller has made everything easier.My favorite feature is how it folds up with just one hand, and then can be carried with just one hand, while carrying the baby in the other. The auto fold up feature has to be used to be believed. I just make one motion with one hand to get it started, and then it folds itself. I really appreciate this when I am going up my front porch stairs.The stroller seems very comfortable. I recline the seat all the way back when my baby nephew falls asleep mid-walk, and it actually supports him really well. The adjustable footrest is nice to have too. The five point harness is easy to get him in and out of quickly.The stroller ride is really smooth. The wheels handle sidewalks, parking lots, and even slightly rougher paths without hesitation. Even pushing it with one hand while drinking my coffee or holding my phone is easy, and it steers well.The storage basket gets used a lot. It will hold a small diaper bag.Overall, this stroller is perfectly designed with features that make walking or traveling with a child simple. I actually look forward to taking this stroller out for walks. It feels sturdy and durable, and the literature states it will work for a child up to 48.5 lbs and a total load capacity of 53 lbs. I would highly recommend this stroller.

Kinderkraft has to be the best in the affordable gear game. Nobody comes close to what they offer at the prices they ask. I know it sounds like I love them (so far, I do) but I also don’t let that sway my evaluation of each product on its own. I’m happy to report that this folding stroller from them is amazing all in its own, prior good experiences with this brand aside! It feels far and away more expensive than it is. The materials are fantastic, the styling is premium, and most importantly, it feels sturdy and smooth not rickety and cheap. The best way I can describe it is that it feels like a premium stroller you got on a clearance sale, not like something that was made to be sold cheap on Amazon. It’s so compact, the auto fold feature works just like the video and is honestly just fun to use, and it has all the angles and adjustable bits you’d want. I love the massive canopy, so great for those days where the sun is coming in at an awkward angle, and the wheels make most terrain a dream. It’s definitely light enough to carry one handed between uses, but it’s still pretty hefty, so it’s not like I’d be comfortable walking a mile carrying this thing. Overall, I highly recommend this as my current favorite compact folding stroller!
