Postpartum Must have
If you have ever had a baby before you know how important a good peri bottle is. For the past few pregnancies I have gotten different Peri bottles. This one is similar to those that I have used in the past. It has a very soft spray (unlike the ones you receive from the hospital) soft and gentle to help keep things clean. I learned the hard way from past peri bottles to NEVER steam the base of the peri bottle haha it does melt. So this time with this one I didn’t do that and it has worked perfectly.If you will be having a baby soon. Don’t count on the one from the hospital. Haha what they give you does work, but it is certainly not soft and gentle, when you really need it to be. Get yourself a nice peri bottle and you will be glad you did. This one works well and may be one to consider getting.

Great for gentle irrigation
I’ve never actually used a real bidet. I’ve wanted to try one for a while, but I’m just not too crazy about the thought of cold water after looking at how most of them work, so I thought this would be great because I can fill it with warm water beforehand. It worked well, and I didn’t have a problem with water leaking and getting everywhere. It was pretty easy to use, but it’s not exactly a power washer, and perhaps a little larger size would be better. For cleaning I still had to use a combination of tissue paper and the water spray, and I ran out of water a little early. I think I need to try it more than once to get the hang of it, but I kind of expected just a simple rinse and dry, and the water alone didn’t get me completely clean. I understand it’s designed for females postpartum use, and for that I’m sure it’s perfect, but as a portable bidet, it could maybe use a couple of enhancements. Anyway, it’s still way better than using paper alone. I think I’ll use the paper as usual and then do a rinse with this device, and I’ll be very happy. Thanks for letting me try it out.

Serves the purpose
Not much to say, really. It works well and serves the purpose. You can see the water level in the bottle since it’s see-through, but the type of plastic it’s made from is a bit on the stiff side. It seems like a squishier type of plastic would probably hold up longer and be less prone to splitting in the long run.**Update – after about 3 months of use, this bottle has become a mess. When the bottle is inverted, water manages to sleep into the threads where the nozzle twists into the bottle itself, and subsequently leak out onto the toilet seat, clothing, and / or floor when you go to turn it back upright. It was effective enough for a little while, but don’t expect it to hold up to regular use long-term.

Peri Bottle Postpartum 400ml Portable Cleansing Tool – Green, Inverted Travel Toilet Seat for Postpartum Care, Vaginal Cleansing, Patient Hygiene CareHelpful for those going through postpartum or need assistance with cleaning oneself, like a lite-version of a portable bidet if you want to think of it that way. The size is fairly decent for what I need it for and the spray nozzle is what makes this most useful. This belongs in your hospital bag for use post-birth and the following days/weeks. This should last for a good amount of time and I would recommend it. Note that this is a decent sized bottle, it may not be the best to fit in a small pocketbook type of situation.

Not for me
The plastic bottle was hard to squeeze. Felt and sounded like a plastic soda bottle and once you squeeze the bottle, it stays sunken in, I had to struggle to inflate the bottle in order to try to squeeze it again. I literally threw it in the trash, not for me and not as described.

Great cleaning tool
Instead of using it as postpartum, I regularly use it for normal hygiene cleansing in the toilet. I must say 100 times better than using toilet paper as it gives a clean and hygienic feeling
