Peace of mind for busy moms (especially with curious toddlers)
I picked up the Bates Baby Safety Outlet Cover Box 2 Pack as part of baby-proofing my home, and honestly, this has been one of the most useful upgrades so far.If you have a toddler, you already know how fast they find everything they’re not supposed to touch — outlets included. I needed something more secure than the basic plug inserts, especially for areas where things are constantly plugged in. These outlet cover boxes were really easy to install and fit right over the outlet with cords plugged in. Effective and easy to use
Installation was a little tricky with my older outlets in my house, but ever since, they just work. Still use them in the room 5 years later and still just as effective and easy to use.

Keeps my small fry from getting fried!
I am grateful for these outlet covers, they have successfully kept our busy toddler who is very drawn to outlets from messing with the ones in his room. They’re kind of bulky, but it’s necessary to leave space for plugs and cords. Better bulky than unsafe! They don’t feel super sturdy, partly the plastic, partly that there’s only one tiny screw holding the whole thing in place (I would appreciate an option to screw the four corners of the back of the cover into the wall for extra safety). But they’ve been holding up well so far, and we check them regular for damage. Easy enough to figure out, quick to install and remove as needed. They fit fine over insulating outlet strips on our outer walls. Overall, I would recommend them.

My baby likes to play with outlets, as most do. This product was easy to install, you just need to be able to take off the plate already on the wall. Fit as expected, seems durable enough to take a beating from a persistent child. Keeps electrical out of play and baby is safe. Functionality is nice as it is easy to open should you need to change outlets.

I had to improvise with another outlet cover over the box because the twins ripped it out of the wall and cracked the plate right in half. Otherwise, it works nicely.

I have a bunch of very bored cats that, even though they have plenty of toys, love to pull plugs out of the wall. They’re going to give me a heart attack!! (Lol) These covers are great! Totally cat-proof. Easy to install, and are holding up well.
