A Perfect Addition to Our Montessori Home
As a Montessori-inspired household, we are absolutely thrilled with this Fisher-Price wooden shape sorter. The fact that it is made out of natural wood is a huge plus for us, as we prioritize high-quality, sustainable materials for our children’s play environment. It serves as a fantastic first toy because the size is perfect for tiny hands to explore. The colors are beautiful and calming; they have a lovely pastel quality rather than being overstimulating or harsh, making the entire set very aesthetically pleasing and highly giftable. This has quickly become one of my child’s favorite toys to reach for and grab. We’ve noticed it significantly helps with developing a strong motor grasp and improving visual tracking as they work with the different shapes. The flexi-bins and smooth wooden blocks provide a wonderful tactile experience that keeps them engaged for quite a while. It is rare to find a toy that balances educational value with such beautiful, simple design, and we couldn’t be happier with this five-star purchase.

Great, classic toy
This Fisher-Price Wood Baby Toy Flexi Shape Sorter, 7-Piece Wooden Activity with Elastic Bands for Infants & Toddlers Ages 9+ Months is a good, classic toy for kiddos. It seems well made, I was worried about the elastic bands but they are going strong still after quite a bit of use. The colors are nice because they are colorful without being too bright or overwhelming. The pieces are easy for my little one to hold and manipulate but don’t make me feel like I need to watch them like a hawk as they are big enough to be safe for them. Zero complaints with this.

Putting things in things
My toddler loves this toy. She loves putting the blocks into the box and taking them out. She puts all kinds of toys in here, but the wooden blocks are her favorites. I like how high quality it is, with such nice wooden pieces. This would be a great gift for any 1 to 2 year old, or would make a great baby shower gift.

Decent toy.
The prices of toys is getting way out of hand, I got something like this for my first kid and now I’m at my third and this would have been around $11 pre-covid. But that’s a whole other discussion. This is a basic toy perfect for little ones who are beginning to play with toys. The quality is alright I would say. The colors aren’t too bright if that’s your thing.

Great, classic baby toy
Someone’s simple is better and I definitely feel that is the case with this toy. This old school sorting toy is perfect for both older infants and toddlers, in that it helps develop recognition, hand/eye coordination, and even reasoning. It’s built of solid, splinter-free wood and includes an assortment of shapes with corresponding holes cut in the box.The top consists of strong elastic strings that are spaced to help keep the toys in, but slight pressure allows the strings to move apart. This creates another opportunity for a baby to adjust to change and still have lots of fun.Given its quality, I think the price is fair.

Great toy!
Great toy! Very well made. No rough edges. Very pleasant colors. Small enough to be portable unlike some of the other bigger clunky ones. Nice sized pieces easy for small hands to pick up.

This is a wonderful educational toy for 1-2 year olds to learn about shapes and matching. The soft color scheme helps them recognize the variety of colors, which is fantastic!
