Great baby monitor system with easy to use features.
Fantastic baby monitor and I really encourage you to give it a try. I’ve had several monitors over the years with 3 kids, and this one blows the others away. It excelled in video quality, audio quality, ease of setup, ease of use, intuitive app, and good Bluetooth range. It really checks all if the boxes, in my opinion. I tested it out for over a month before starting this review, and it was flawless throughout. My wife and I took a vacation for around 10 days and left this with grandma and grandpa while we were gone. They had nothing but positive feedback for it and didn’t experience any issues with it either.Impressions of the monitor:Couldn’t be easier to use. I plugged in the camera, plugged in the monitor, and they auto connected with each other.The Bluetooth range was very effective. My house is on one side of a road and I have another parcel across the street with a pole barn and additional parking. I was able to stay connected via Bluetooth when I took the monitor into my pole barn and left the camera in my living room. I’d estimate it was at least 150ft away, in different structures. I did have the pole barn overhead doors open.I downloaded the free app and connected the monitor to my home wifi. This allows me to wirelessly access the camera system remotely if I’m out of Bluetooth range or away from home. It works really well. The app looks like it maybe was originally of European design, but I’m in the States and it works perfectly, is in English, you can set it to Fahrenheit, etc.The video and audio quality are fantastic. It’s better than my home security cameras. The night vision function is incredible. I’ve asked my wife if she forgot to turn off our son’s bedroom light before, because I could see the room so well.The camera controls couldn’t be easier. Put your finger on the screen you’re monitoring and move your finger up, down, left, right, and the camera moves in that direction.If it detects noise, you can set it to auto turn the screen on so you can see what’s going on. It also has a red light that comes on the monitor, indicating it’s detecting noise if you have the volume turned down. You can set it to turn the camera on if it (the monitor) hears you. So if you leave the room where the monitor is and then come back in after a while, it hears you and will turn the monitor screen on so you can see what’s going on in your kid’s room without having to go touch the monitor. Hopefully that makes sense, because it’s actually a nice feature.You can set temperature alerts for the room you’re monitoring, both low and high. The monitor will alarm if your child’s room temperature goes above or below your set range. It’s such an awesome piece of mind!I haven’t hard mounted this camera, because I like to be able to move it around the house as needed, but it does come with hardware to do so.I think that’s about it. I can’t think of a negative that I’ve experienced. This thing rocks and I absolutely recommend it.

Very nice monitor, use the app or device, nice features
I keep a baby monitor at my house because my grandkids visit and stay over frequently. I have used the same monitor for years, but was interested in something that had app accessibility to free us up from having to walk around with the physical screen. This monitor does exactly that and much more.The camera is great quality and provides a really high resolution image on both the physical monitor and the app. The camera is able to be moved (the eye repositioned) via either method as well. The range is very wide, enabling you to see as much as the whole room at once depending on your positioning. The camera can be placed on a dresser or shelf and also comes with hardware to mount it if that’s preferred.The camera has a speaker built in so you can talk to your child through the app or monitor. But what’s really neat is that it can also play noises (like white noise, womb heartbeat, lullabies) or there are several audio stories preloaded. You can even set a “scene” where one of these auto-plays when certain criteria is met during a certain time (for example “if a cry is heard between 7pm – 11pm play rain sounds”).The app also lets you know when certain things happen, such as noise, a cry, movement, temperature out of range, and more. All of these things have parameters that can be set so you aren’t getting more alarms than you want.There is also an optional feature to have the cry analyzed through a third party. If you subscribe to this service (free trial then additional cost) the analyzer will tell you if the cry is from hunger, sleepiness, discomfort, and more.Connecting the system was very easy. Adding the app was easy as well. In fact, the app produces a QR code and you use the camera to scan your phone to connect the two. The only problem I had is on the first day I had to close the app a few times to get the camera to reconnect even after it had been working well. Later that day, though, it remained connected and even sent me notifications as the evening went on because the camera had picked up noise. Note that the app will still work even if the monitor (not the camera) is off. You don’t need to use the monitor either the camera – you could exclusively use the app.This is a somewhat pricey set though not out of range for similar systems. Monitors are not cheap all the way around. But I’m really thrilled with this set – it’s a big upgrade from what I had previously been using!
